How will your salvation on judgement day be guaranteed ?
This cleartext point also mentions:
Newborn - or born-again Christian, and the important declaration, which means assurance of salvation.
"... What must I do to be saved ?"
(Acts 16/30)
" Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house (your relatives) blessed !"
(Acts 16/31)
That is the answer that Paul gave to a man who didn´t know
(or not much) of Jesus Christ -
So he not yet believed in him.
But is it that simple ?
Only believe "in" Jesus - and nothing more ?
Who calls this his faith, has only a dead faith.
Only by converting the words of the Lord into practice is faith a living faith - faith,
which is so powerful that it can actually "carry" you up to paradise on the last day.
By deeds alone, you're not going to enter into heaven (more info soon) -
However, without action, you will never enter heaven (also soon more information)
because then you only have a dead faith - and something dead is worthless.
"For as the body without the spirit is dead,
so faith without works is dead also."
(James 2/26)
"Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone."
(James 2/17)
"Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect ?"
(James 2/22)
Important note: If you reread this quotation in the Bible, you will find in the one before
the words: "... when he offered Isaac his son upon the altar ..." (James 2/21).
It must be said: Abraham did not sacrifice his son Isaac!
(Refer to the link:. 1.Mose 22 / 11-12)
There is a bible verse, with which Satan has big success - it says:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
(Ephesians 2/8-9)
If you like to know, why this is so, please read the cleartext point 187.
Please also read the cleartext point 193 entitled:
The Christians could change the world - but because their deeds and works are missing, this does not happen !
Preachers often argue: "The deeds and works come in the Christian faith by itself."
But is that so ?
The real faith is not a pleasant and relaxing trip in the direction of paradise,
but often tedious and exhausting - associated with deprivation,
personal sacrifices and ordeals.
True Christians are often derided, even persecuted in many countries and must suffer for their faith (even today).
Who knows this, will not depart from the faith again at the slightest problem,
but continue the arduous journey courageous and determined -
to destination - eternal life in God's kingdom.
The just quoted Paul also said namely:
"For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ,
not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake ..."
(Philippians 1/29)
Don´t let yourself be discouraged by these clear words.
The website bears the name: "cleartext".
So I do speak (or write) cleartext here.
What good is it to you, if you only hear melodious and slimy words,
but the practice looks very different than any preacher tries to convince you of.
Eventually, then the point is achieved,
where you no longer believe their words with which they convince you,
that you'll be carried on hands, once you're a believer.
Exactly the opposite is often the case:
If you want to enter in God's kingdom, then the Lord paces and checks if you mean it seriously with faith, or whether you only want to be a Christian for the benefits.
Very important to know:
Good intentions will not help you further.
There is a saying:
"The road to hell is paved with good intentions!"
The "wanting" is not enough - it depends on the "doing" of.
In the bible it says:
"... who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.
Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will,
so there may be a performance also out of that which ye have ..."
(2 Corinthians 8 / 10-11)
Now to answer the question:
How are you guaranteed to be saved ?
Three things are important and necessary:
To a solid way to get concrete, you need three things -
Namely in the right proportions: cement, gravel and water.
Once an ingredient is missing, the concrete is not okay.
The same applies to the way to God's kingdom. It is only through the three
below mentioned "ingredients" for a fixed and safe way.
All three "ingredients" are needed - "... lest we drift past the goal."
(Hebrews 2/1)
1. You can not doubt that Jesus Christ as the Son of God has taken your sins upon himself, and in place of you endured the capital punishment on the cross.
(Please read explanatory in the cleartext points 006 and 123.)
At the end of the cleartext point 062 you can understand that doubts about Jesus Christ can even be fatal.
"For God sent not His Son (Jesus Christ the first time, two thousand years ago)
into the world to condemn the world
(Which happens only at his second coming again on the last day)
but that the world might be saved through him (however, Jesus was crucified).
He that believeth on him (Jesus Christ) (which one of the three conditions),
is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed (in Jesus and whose statements and warnings),
in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
(John 3/17-18)
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, (then) thou shalt be saved."
(Romans 10/9)
Only one of the three conditions which you can read in this cleartext point would be comparable with the following statement: "If you have air to breathe, then you will live."
But if the other two conditions (namely food and drink) are missing,
then you have to die anyway. All three conditions form a unity !
Likewise, it is also with the three conditions, to get into the kingdom of God -
Missing one, then you can not have eternal life in the kingdom of the Lord !
Jesus warned us that there is a narrow path into the kingdom of God and that few people find this way and go on it.
Jesus says:
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way (the wide and easy way), that leadeth to destruction (eternal damnation),
and many (people) there be which go in thereat.
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto (eternal) life,
and (only) few (people) there be (this narrow path to eternal life) that find it
(And then actually go on this way)."
(Matthew 7/13-14)
The reason why only a few people will enter the kingdom of heaven:
One of the three conditions is often neglected or even rejected.
Now the two other conditions:
2. All your sins can be "washed off" by Jesus Christ through sincere repentance.
(You'll find information in the cleartext point 009.)
This "you have to" always sounds as force and coercion.
Please also read the cleartext point 064. In it, you will see how from a felt compulsion
becomes voluntarism, just by rethinking. The title of this cleartext point is:
How does a "you have to ...!" become - a voluntary: "I want ..." - ?
3. Also, it is necessary to put all the orders of the Lord into practice.
(Information in the cleartext points 008, 010, 012, 016 and 148.)
Now an indication, by which I most likely will be categorised in the corner of sect preachers. But through my cleartext information
I don´t spread cuddly words but the uncomfortable
truth, not well received by many readers.
What you will read now, is actually what all preachers would tell their listeners
- but they do not because they do not want to "offend".
What do I mean ?
These are the words that Jesus said to his disciples just before he returned to his heavenly father. Every Christian knows this phrase - but hardly anyone sees it the seriousness with which the Lord "meant" it.
Jesus' words:
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you."
(Matthew 28/19)
Jesus Christ says that he has "commanded" things to his disciples -
And that's what they should teach as preachers. Jesus does not want us to "wrap our listeners around the finger" with gentle cuddle words, to pull their money out of their pockets.
He expects us preachers that we speak "clear text". We should not politely ask the people to implement the actions Jesus said and lived out, but our task is what he has "commanded" to tell the people clearly.
Those who do not want to hear our clear words, we are to "leave out".
Jesus' words in this regard:
"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words (not listen),
when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet."
(Matthew 10/14)
"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you (not listen), when ye depart thence,
shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them."
(Mark 6/11)
You now have two options: Either you google the internet for as long around
until you have found a page on which you can read exactly what you want to hear -
According to the motto:
"... Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things ..."
(Isaiah 30/10)
Or you think quietly about by what I "fling at your head" on my homepage.
That won´t "taste" - but unfortunately medicine that tastes delicious doesn´t help usually.
It's your free choice - I do not urge anyone.
As a brief summary now the three just read conditions
I hand over as a piece of advice to your heart:
1. You can not doubt that Jesus Christ as the Son of God has taken your sins upon himself, and as a representative endured capital punishment on the cross instead of you.
2. All your sins you have to let Jesus Christ "wash" away through sincere repentance.
3. In addition, it is our job to put the Lord's words into action.
Important:
Even if you follow all three just explained bits of advice - still, there is a huge problem that can separate you from eternal life in God's kingdom:
It is the lack of perseverance!
Only those who stand up to their last breath faithful to the Lord -
Seeking wholeheartedly to implement his word into practice, and endure God`s exams and trials will at the end obtain the crown of life of the Lord.
Jesus promises:
"But he that endureth to the end (by perseverance) shall be saved (will get eternal life)."
(Matthew 10/22 and similarly in Matthew 24/13)
"Blessed is the man (and logically also the woman) that endureth temptation:
for when he is tried (after he has passed God's tests [see cleartext point 023]),
he shall receive the crown of life (eternal life), which the Lord hath promised to them that love him."
(James 1/12)
The Lord promises you:
"Be thou faithful (to God and Jesus) unto death (hold up to your end bravely),
and I will (then) give thee a crown of life (i.e., eternal life in God's kingdom)."
(Revelation 2/10)
Jesus' promise is based on the "if - then - principle",
which applies very often in the word of the Lord.
In this case, it means: If you endure loyal and brave -
Then you will get eternal life in God's kingdom.
(Read the "if - then - principle" information and the cleartext point 170.)
Repetition of the three conditions for your guaranteed rescue -
With one important addition:
1. You can not doubt that Jesus Christ as the Son of God has taken your sins upon himself, and endured capital punishment on the cross as a representative of you.
2. All your sins you have to "wash" off through sincere repentance to Jesus Christ.
3. Besides, it is our job to put the Lord's words into action.
And now the important additional:
We need to (yes - must) endure until the end - and may never doubt !
I am often accused, that I am stressing much on the deeds and works on my web page.
But I have to do this, because many people who call themselves "Christians", do not know that the Lord sets a very great value in our deeds and works.
We can´t earn the kingdom of heaven by deeds and works. Only by Jesus crucifixion, the way was made free for us. But by deeds and works, a real Christian proves and shows the Lord his deep gratitude.
The absence of deeds and works by man who describes himself as a "Christian",
proves to the Lord that he is not willing to heed the words of Jesus Christ -
then his faith "in" God and "in" Jesus is merely useless religion.
Many people come to faith "in" God and "in" Jesus Christ. But hardly anyone shows these believers clearly, that only to believe "in" the Lord in the mind is not enough.
Jesus Christ tells us (and this is exactly what I want to bring closer to as many people as possible through my website), that it is absolutely important to put his word
into action - ie to be a doer of the word.
Jesus Christ speaks to us in no uncertain terms - that speak cleartext.
His unequivocal statement:
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that (only those) doeth the will of my Father (put God´s laws into practice) which is in heaven."
(Matthew 7/21)
And Jesus adds his warning:
"And why call ye me (hypocritically) Lord, Lord, and (then you) do not the things which I say ?"
(Luke 6/46)
He explains:
"You are (only then) my friends if you do what I command you
(If you put into practice what I tell you and ask you)."
(John 15/14)
That which Jesus asks of us, is also what God requires.
(In cleartext point 129 you will learn everything what Jesus said, what we should do.)
If we put Jesus' words into action, then we get Jesus not only as our friend - but even as a brother, for he says:
"For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother."
(Mark 3/35 and similarly in Matthew 12/50 and Luke 8/21)
In God's word, the bible, he makes us aware in very many places of the
"If - then - principle":
"If you do this and that - then ..."
(Detailed information about God "if - then - principle" you'll find the aforementioned cleartext point 170.)
That just a few Christians walk through life as doers of the word, proves the following sample calculation that actually brings tears to the eyes:
If all the people who call themselves Christians, would put the words which Jesus Christ taught us into action, then no one would have to starve on this earth.
There are about 2 billion Christians worldwide.
And there are about 1 billion people who are hungry and need to be thirsty in this world.
On two so-called "Christians" comes one starving man,
whom is not helped at all- or is only helped insufficiently.
Is that within the meaning of the Lord - that's Christianity?
(Read about this topic please also the aforementioned cleartext point 193.)
Maybe you now get the idea to become a sponsor of a child in the third world,
to save it from starvation.
Please click on this issue necessarily in the alphabetical query: child-sponsorship.
If we want to support the starving people sustainably, then we should, for instance, ensure through first aid, that they are preserved from starvation -
but at the same time offer them guidance and material assistance,
with which they can permanently escape famine by "helping people to help themselves".
You'll find information when you search terms in the alphabetical by clicking: reputable charities.
How can there still be millions of hunger deaths in this world every year,
when have 2 billion Christians written charity allegedly on their "flag" quite large ?
Why are two Christians not able to share and by
personal sacrifice help one starving person ?
The answer is cruel - but to the facts:
Because of many, which hypocritically call themselves "Christians" are just close to themselves. They like to dine in the restaurant, celebrate parties, barely survive without their cell phones, travel, go after their hobbies, shop extensively and enjoy life - while elsewhere countless people must starve and thirst miserably.
And on Sunday these "Christians" go in their community and sing hymns.
They do give alms for the poor - but only if something is left of their abundance.
Personal waiver to help more intensively - this is a foreign word to them,
of which they do not want to hear.
And this is exactly why the preachers of half-truths use the word renunciation very reluctantly
because the majority of "Christians" gave them the following order:
"... speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:"
(Isaiah 30/10)
Sermons on the grace and mercy of the Lord are nowadays popular with the audience, instead of words of warning.
(In cleartext point 137 you can read, on which
conditions the Lord is actually graceful and merciful to us.)
Unfortunately, most preachers are not ready to shake up their "sheep" in the communities.
They do not dare to tell their listeners (or readers) in plain words that every Christian should go through life as a doer of the word.
Instead, they prefer to talk about mercy and compassion - because exactly that is what people want to hear, those words just go down like honey.
Exhortations? - No thanks!
I make myself very unpopular with many people because I try to awake Christians with clear words on my homepage.
But I'm not doing this because I am bored (as I am not bored), but to mould them into perpetrators of the word - to people, in whom the Lord has his joy,
and with whom he would like to live together in his kingdom from the Last Day.
In God's Word it says:
"For I mean not that other men be eased, and ye burdened. But by an equality,
that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want,
that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality.
As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack."
(2 Corinthians 8/13-15)
The first Christians lived according to the commandment, equitable
to create a balance between rich and poor.
"They sold (their) possessions and goods (their property)
and they shared out among all,
depending had need."
(Acts 2/45)
At the present time a great many "Christians" only "wear" a hypocritical cloak of piety and religion - and are convinced that they will arrive in God's kingdom on the last day because of their faith "in" Jesus Christ alone.
But why do they believe such a thing?
Because the preachers of half-truths persuade them, over and over again at worship meetings or television broadcasts. Thus, the faithful will not become true Christians - but only name-Christians.
In cleartext point 098 see how a true Christian differs from a name-Christian.
Knowing this is very important so that you don´t have the illusion in yourself as a name-Christ, that you will be allowed into the kingdom of God on judgment day, but then have to find out very disappointed that the Lord rejects you for eternity.
And the worst part is: You can´t change anything then !
I want to spare you of that - that is the reason for this website.
Please don´t behave obstinately to God's admonitions and warnings.
In cleartext point 066 you can read some superhuman stubbornness -
and learn there how God responds.
The Lord will be tough on the last day with the passive Name-Christians and say to them,
"... I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity."
(Luke 13/25-27)
"Verily I say unto you, I know you not."
(Matthew 25/12)
"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."
(Matthew 7/23)
"Evildoers - those are the murderers, thieves and child molesters ..."
Error - in the eyes of the Lord are also those evildoers, who are not ready to act
with all their heart (ie by sharing and by one or the other use of personal sacrifice) for the poorest of the poor.
Please read also the cleartext point 017. Its title:
Not to do something, can be a sin too !
And in cleartext point 118 you will learn exactly how it will go down in the judgment on the last day.
Both in the old and the new testament, we are asked by many biblical quotations clearly intended to raise our "backside" of the soft armchair or from the hard pew to do something for our Lord. We should be active not only once or from time to time for him, but as often as possible. Who does not believe it or even denies it, is an infidel in the eyes of the Lord.
But what happens on the last day with the unbelievers?
Jesus Christ tells us that clearly ahead:
"But the fearful, and unbelieving (these include the doubters), and the abominable, and murderers,
and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part (their share, their future)
in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."
(Revelation 21/8)
This is not intended as fearmongering, but it is a fact - an inconvenient truth.
Who does not believe, can not be saved in the truest sense of the word.
(Sorry, but the home page is called: cleartext.)
Surely you know the saying: Every man is the artisan of his own fortune.
But in this life, it ain´t always so, because
often external circumstances prevent earthly happiness.
But for the happiness in eternal life (in the paradise of God) every man is responsible -
the luck or joy there everyone must forge or create now during his current life here.
After the death "the furnace is off" - since the forging fire is out -
from this point on no one can make a difference.
Therefore "wrought iron" as long as it is still hot - this means:
Change your life, as long as you aren`t "cold".
Many are wondering:
"How much do I have to do for the Lord, so that he loves me?"
Anyone who thinks so, "puts the cart before the horse" - she or he pushes the issue from the wrong side.
God loves us people so much that he gave his Son, Jesus Christ, to be sacrificed on the cross so that our sins could be forgiven.
"For God so loved the world (God so loved the people in this world)
that he gave his only begotten son (Jesus Christ)
(Let him die on the cross for the forgiveness of sins),
that whosoever (is it enough to believe "in" ?) believeth in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life."
(John 3/16)
The Lord Jesus Christ loves us so much that he sacrificed his life on the cross in indescribable agony and pain for us. He loved us first and proved us his love with this act.
Now he wants to see if we love him - and the proof of that love to work for him.
Jesus' words:
"If a man love me, he will keep my words ..."
(John 14/23)
He recognises whether we love him - by implementing his word into practice.
"We love him (the Lord), because he first loved us" (and proved us this love).
(1 John 4/19)
This love for Jesus Christ urges every true Christian, to work for the Lord.
"For the love of Christ constraineth us ..."
(2 Corinthians 5/14)
The more one loves the Lord - the more he (or she) will be working for him.
And the greater the gratitude to Jesus is,
the more he will seek (or her),
to show that gratitude to the Lord by deeds and works -
namely voluntarily and enthusiastically.
True Christians so do not ask: "How much do I have to do for the Lord?" - but use voluntarily every possible opportunity, to work for the Lord to give and prove him the love and gratitude
enthusiastically.
Please be sure to also read the cleartext point 050. Its title:
Of which man can Jesus expect the greatest gratitude?
Important advice:
If you want to be a true Christian now (if you're still not) which converts the word of the Lord into practice, then do not make the mistake that most make:
You first want to know everything - and then (eventually)
implement the accumulated knowledge into practice.
This is wrong!
But start immediately in order to implement what has been read into action.
A rote-learning is way pointless - and not wanted by the Lord.
We are often to read in his word - and then implement what we have read into action.
This enables us to learn everything much easier.
In today's life, this is called learning by doing.
If you implement the word of the Lord at every opportunity,
then you gradually become ingrained ( "in the flesh").
Thereby in the future, you are less susceptible to Satan's attempts to disrupt and will be able to resist his seductive arts more easily.
All faith and all action assume that you are obedient to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Only with this fact, you can prove him your love !
"Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love,
and of our boasting on your behalf."
(2 Corinthians 8/24)
Please also read the cleartext point 000 entitled:
Do you love Jesus? - Then work for him!
In the Bible we are asked clearly:
"... Let us not love with words ..., but in deed ..."
(1 John 3/18)
Otherwise, the love of Jesus is only feigned !
For this the following joke as food for thought:
A man loves a woman who lives across from him on the street.
He decides to tell her how he feels about it. He calls her and says:
"I want to confess to you that I am very, very much in love with you. I would do anything for you:
Barefoot running on broken glass, walking to the North Pole or fighting in Africa with lions. "
Then, the woman replies: "I'm glad because I love you too. Come on over to me."
The man replies, "But not now - it's raining."
Full-bodied love confessions Jesus hears daily in millions of the prayers and songs. But if
people should prove to him their orally assured love with facts and deeds, then "it's raining".
This is not the behaviour of real Christians - but of the name-Christians.
(Name-Christians - see cleartext point 098.)
Does this have anything to do with love ?
Does this look like obedience to the Lord ?
"... and he that believeth not the Son (Jesus Christ) shall not see (eternal) life;
but the wrath of God abideth on him."
(John 3/36)
The Lord Jesus is with disappointment:
"This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me."
(Mark and Matthew 7/6 15/8 and similarly in Isaiah 29/13)
Please never forget Jesus' question:
"And why call ye me (hypocritical), Lord, Lord, and (then) do not the things which I say ?"
(Luke 6/46)
(In the aforementioned cleartext point 129 you will learn everything that Jesus said, we should do.)
And let always Jesus warning remain as an alert before your eyes:
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he (only those) that doeth the will of my Father (puts God´s laws into practice) which is in heaven."
(Matthew 7/21)
The issues raised by Jesus laws of God are also the words of Jesus, by which we should live. In just mentioned cleartext point 129 you'll find it as a summary.
Putting God's Word into action is very difficult for many "Christians".
Question: Do you give example to the Lord his rightful tithe -
or do you prefer to finance your holidays and your leisure interests ?
Please read through the cleartext point 137 the important information on the subject:
"We no longer live under the law, but under grace."
About God`s tithes check in cleartext point 094.
In support please remember whatsoever the following warning:
"But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only;
deceiving yourselves."
(James 1/22)
Don´t let the preachers of half - truths (information in cleartext point 106) deceive you.
they lead you to believe, that deeds and works are not necessary.
Don´t fool yourself, by "constructing" a faith, which is nice and easy.
Never forget the warning from the bible:
"But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only;
deceiving yourselves."
(James 1/22)
"Let no man deceive himself."
(1 Corinthians 3/18)
So - get up from your cosy armchair and be a doer of the word.
"For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead."
(James 2/26)
"Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone."
(James 2/17)
A dead faith is worthless - never forget that!
At this point, I would like to recommend the cleartext point 177. In it is
the important issue of efficiency, which Jesus Christ expects from us if we put his word into practice.
Important to know:
You are not going to arrive in heaven by your good deeds - but with your deeds and works
you prove the Lord, that you are serious about your faith, and at the same time
you show him your gratitude for enduring the agony
on the cross - to clear the way for you into the kingdom of God.
Only through prayers, songs and lip confessions you do not prove your gratitude to the Lord - that only try the name-Christians.
God says tough to them:
"... I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
take thou away from me the noise of thy songs ..."
(Amos 5/21-23)
The Lord wants no nation that warbles songs in his ears,
but otherwise only "shines" through passivity
- but he wants:
"... a peculiar people ..., zealous of good works."
(Titus 2/14)
Only through deeds and works, it is possible to you, to express your enthusiasm for God,
for Jesus and their everlasting kingdom (the paradise).
Jesus Christ warns:
"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot."
(If you do not implement the words of Jesus with enthusiasm into action,
then you act lukewarm in his eyes .)
"Because thou art lukewarm ...
I will spue (spit) thee out of my mouth." (That is why I do not want you in my kingdom.)
(Revelation 3/15-16)
Think always of the interaction of all three "ingredients" !
Once one of these three "ingredients" is missing, you are unable to reach the kingdom of God -
even if you fulfil the other two conditions.
It depends on the right mix.
Jesus' words:
"... these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone."
(Matthew 23/23 and Luke 11/42)
To be a Christian in this world is not honey or sugar-licking -
which Jesus announced us certain terms. He says:
"Whosoever will come after me, ... and take up his cross, and follow me."
(Mark 8/34)
"And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me."
(Matthew 10/38)
"... if any man will come after me, ... take up his cross daily and follow me."
(Luke 9/23)
"... If any man will come after me, ... take up his cross, and follow."
(Matthew 16/24)
"And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple."
(Luke 14/27)
Many who hypocritically call themselves "Christians", think: "Yes, yes, prepare the cross already, if I feel like it, then I take it upon myself. "- But they do not take it upon themselves,
but try to enjoy life. After all, this is indeed mentioned in many slogans, headlines and even "hammered" into the minds of the people in the sermons:
"Enjoy life ..."
or:
"Joy of life ..."
Just that people want to hear - so it is preached full-bodied !
Of course, the Lord does not mind if we feel joy.
But always think of Jesus' words:
"He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life
in this world shall keep it unto life eternal."
(John 12/25)
Who hates this life, will do his utmost,
to get into the kingdom of God to receive eternal life,
where is no shortage, where no tears flow
and in which there will be no pain and no suffering.
Please read also the cleartext point 149 entitled:
Should Christians abandon everything - and only "mope" ?
To carry his cross - that's something else than to wear full shopping bags
or the hymnal in the worship and to it carry back home.
"For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ,
not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake ..."
(Philippians 1/29)
"And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ;
if so be that we suffer with him (Jesus Christ),
that we may be also glorified together (with Jesus)."
(Romans 8/17)
To carry his cross means: to be active for the Lord - even if all other "Christians" try to persuade you, that deeds and works are not necessary.
Now a short a bible quote on the subject: There is something missing ...
King Agrippa was informed of Paul (the former enemy of Jesus` followers)
what had brought him to faith in Jesus Christ.
Then he said to Paul:
"Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian."
(Acts 26/28)
There was not missing much - just a small step, which however he was not willing to do.
A "but" kept him from the true faith - consequently, he remained an infidel,
because he couldn`t believe the words of Jesus one hundred percent and did not start to work for the Lord Jesus.
(Click here in the alphabetical query on "But-people", read the notes - and check then carefully whether you are possibly also one).
Again, the summary of the three conditions for your guaranteed rescue:
1. You can not doubt that Jesus Christ as the Son of God has taken your sins upon himself, and as a representative of you endured capital punishment on the cross.
2. All your sins you can be "washed off" by Jesus Christ
through sincere repentance.
3. In addition, it is our job to put the Lord's words into action.
And as an important addition:
We need (yes - must) endure until the end - and may never doubt !
Thereby you become a newborn Christian - and can achieve the assurance of salvation.
Assurance of salvation is not some religious-sounding phrase,
but very important. Therefore now the explanation of:
Since we can be quite sure (because we are certain)
that we are saved by the crucifixion of Jesus Christ,
this is called assurance of salvation.
Salvation means to rescue. And because we can be certain of our rescue
(This salvation) - therefore assurance of salvation.
So you get the guarantee from the Lord,
to enter his kingdom on the last day.
Danger:
If you do not have the secure feeling in your heart,
that you will be saved for sure at the last day - you so do not own
the just described assurance of salvation,
then this is an absolutely sure sign
that between you and the Lord yet there
is at least one problem,
which must be eliminated.
The assurance of salvation is like a warning light.
It alerts you if anything is not in order with your faith,
or whether there is a problem between you and the Lord.
There can even be three problems
which prevent the assurance of salvation in you:
1. Sin separates you from God.
This can be a habit that the Lord sees as a sin,
you, however, are not prepared to give up -
So you always repeat it.
However, it can also be a sin from the past,
you have not yet sincerely repented before Jesus Christ,
and you, therefore, could not be forgiven.
2. You have doubts in you.
Please read after the aforementioned cleartext point 062,
that doubts separate you from the Lord and from eternal life -
and that they are even fatal.
3. You act still sluggish because you lack
the necessary enthusiasm for the Lord and his kingdom.
Read about enthusiasm also the cleartext point 019.
As long as you force yourself to something or feel forced,
there may be no or not enough enthusiasm in you.
Therefore, be sure to check also the aforementioned cleartext point 064.
In it, you will see how from you can change a felt compulsion to voluntarism, just by rethinking. The title of this cleartext point is:
How does a: "You have to ...!" - become a voluntary: "I want ... !" - ?
In God's word we are asked:
"Do all things without murmurings and disputings ..."
(Philippians 2/14)
Please read to the cleartext point 138, that there is a difference
between the actual and imaginary certainty of salvation.
The real assurance of salvation in the heart is the gospel.
Translated, gospel: the good news - the good news.
Gospel does not mean:
Jesus sacrificed for you his life on the cross -
Therefore you can now continue to sin
and behave passively.
That would be indeed good news too (especially for the lazy) -
but in reality, it is a lie because we have to seriously
combat our sins and actively implement God's word into practice.
An important warning:
Don´t let anyone convince of anything else - only by the interaction of the three initially declared conditions, you will reach the Kingdom.
The preachers of half-truths always claim that one does not pass through their own doing in God's kingdom.
This is not wrong - but it's only half the story - and half-truths are also lies !
I know perfectly well that you can not get solely through good deeds in heaven -
(But by the crucifixion of Jesus) - but I also know and I am aware
(Because it is clearly written in the Bible) that if we do no good deeds at all
(Ie due to passivity), the path remains blocked in heaven !
The good deeds are not calculated or weighed against the bad deeds,
to be allowed into the sky at a vast majority of good deeds.
Through good deeds, you can not earn the Kingdom of Heaven -
but by your passivity, you can lose it easily !
Jesus Christ, however, told us ahead clearly that at the final judgment our
deeds and works are thrown into the "pan". Missing deeds means:
And finished is the dream of everlasting life in paradise !
Please read it to reflect the aforementioned cleartext point 118.
We can (and should) show the Lord our love and gratitude by deeds and works.
implement His Word into action - which is loving the Lord.
Jesus says:
"... If a man love me, he will keep my words ..."
(John 14/23)
Jesus Christ warns us that our love should not grow cold to him.
He says:
"... continue ye in my love."
(John 15/9)
But how can we maintain the love for Jesus - remain in his love?
He tells us in plain terms:
"He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me ..."
(John 14/21)
"If ye keep my commandments, (then) you abide in my love ..."
(John 15/10)
Important:
Just you have read that Jesus speaks of "his" commandments. In this
mentioned cleartext point 129 you'll find them as a summary.
Important to know:
You don´t do, therefore, good works, to thereby become a Christian,
but do good works because we have become a Christian.
However, Jesus Christ speaks:
"He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings ..."
(John 14/24)
Only those who implement his orders into effect will be his friends.
"Ye are (only) my friends if ye do whatsoever I command you."
(If you translate into practice what I tell you and ask you.)
(John 15/14)
You can only be Jesus friend - or his enemy.
A third possibility does not exist!
Jesus Christ says:
"He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."
(Matthew and Luke 12/30 11/23)
That Jesus Christ on the last day, at the final judgment, will only draw on your deeds and works,
to speak to the judgment, you find out in the aforementioned cleartext point 118.
Prayers, songs, wise and pious sayings do not count then - only your actions carry weight!
Please read the aforementioned cleartext point 137, to whom the Lord is gracious and merciful.
Often the preachers of half truths (see cleartext point 106), teach that through Jesus' crucifixion all sinners reach God's kingdom.
But that's only half the story.
In cleartext-point 006 you can read that the Lord Jesus Christ died only for those who truly repent their sins seriously, they repent - and, consequently, change their lives so that the Lord has joy in them.
Sin separates us from God like a wall.
"But your iniquities (your sins) have separated between you and your God ..."
(Isaiah 59/2)
But through Jesus' death on the cross, that wall was not cut or completely removed.
Jesus broke only a small passage (a narrow gate) in this wall.
Only by doing honest repentance (see cleartext point 009), it is possible for us
to pass through the narrow gate into the kingdom.
"Repent ye therefore and be converted,
that (so) your sins may be blotted out ..."
(Acts 3/19)
Jesus Christ warns us:
"Strive to enter in at the strait gate (into eternal life);
for many, I say unto you,
will seek (it will try) to
enter in (God's kingdom)
and shall not be able."
(Luke 13/24)
If the entire separation wall had been torn down by Jesus on the cross,
then the Lord Jesus Christ weren`t speaking of a narrow gate.
He even adds yet that it is a hard road:
"... how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God !"
(Mark 10/24)
Jesus also says:
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way (the wide and easy way), that leadeth to destruction (eternal damnation),
and many (people) there be which go in thereat.
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto (eternal) life,
and (only) few (people) there be (this narrow path to eternal life) that find it
(And then actually go on this way)."
(Matthew 7/13-14)
Please read also the cleartext point 015 that it is difficult to attain paradise.
I would also like to recommend the cleartext point 176. Its title:
Is it presumptuous to assert: "The Christian faith is the only way to paradise." -?
No, this is not arrogant, because this statement comes from Jesus Christ personally.
A certain lawyer asked Jesus:
"Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life ?"
(Luke 10/25)
Many people have the opinion, because of the numerous sermons with the half-truths,
that they automatically go to heaven by faith alone "in" Jesus Christ
without doing anything of their own.
But what did Jesus respond to the question, which nowadays is also asked again and again?
"Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life ?"
(Luke 10/25)
He could have said:
"Believe in me, and enjoy your life. More you don´t have to do."
But Jesus answered with a question:
"What is written in the law ?"
(Luke 10/26)
The scribe answered:
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself."
(Luke 10/27)
(In cleartext point 041 you can read about how you can show your love and prove it to God.)
Then the Lord gave the parable of the good Samaritan (Luke 10/30-36).
Then Jesus said to the scribes, who had asked how he reached paradise:
"... Go and do thou likewise."
(Luke 10/37)
Jesus asked him to help the sick, the weak and needy.
This believer should do something useful, and not just wear a
religious cloak cape and knock pious sayings.
The same rules of Jesus apply to us.
Important info:
Jesus tells us how he recognises true Christians
(And how we can know them):
"Ye shall know them by their fruits (by their acts and works)."
(Matthew 7/16)
"Bring fruit for the Lord" is very important.
I mentioned it already: Only by good deeds you are unable to reach you in God's Kingdom.
But if you bring no fruit for the Lord, then it's off on the last day in the direction of hell.
I don´t say that - but Jesus Christ tells us this. He
namely, calls his followers (Christians) to bear fruit for God.
We shall prove by deeds and works to the Lord,
that we are useful and helpful for him.
Jesus says:
"... I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit,
and that your fruit should remain ..."
(John 15/16)
Jesus therefore "formed" you to a Christian, that you may bring him benefits - are useful to him.
"... being fruitful in every good work ..."
(Colossians 1/10)
He said:
"Herein is my Father glorified (this is worshipped and adored),
that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples."
(John 15/8)
"And let ours (the true Christians) also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses,
that they be not unfruitful."
(Titus 3/14)
Namely, it is a big difference whether you are just "busy" with God -
or whether it bears fruit for God.
"The bottom line", something meaningful and useful has to arise and grow for the Lord.
God does not want that people "always just turn in circles" - but do not thrive.
Boldly move forward, change for the better - that's the motto!
Change your life so that God and Jesus can have delight in you -
and they realise that you mean it seriously with "being a Christian".
Prove them that you bring fruit for them !
(In cleartext point 144 you will learn some practical examples,
how to do good - and thus may bear fruit for the Lord).
Will you namely bear no fruit for him, then on the last day your dream of living in paradise will burst like a bubble.
Jesus Christ speaks plainly. He warns us to go through life indifferent or sluggish
and not to bear fruit for the Lord.
Please read absolutely about inertia the cleartext point 018.
Important also the already mentioned cleartext point 019. In it, it speaks about
the necessary enthusiasm for God and Jesus Christ.
Jesus' warning:
"Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire."
(Matthew 7/19)
John the Baptist warned not only the people living at that time but also us with hard - hitting words:
"O generation of vipers, who hath warned (who has promised),
you to flee from the wrath to come (the judgment of God) ?
... Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance !
(Not just verbally - but in deed !
Not only regret - but also change - ie reverse the previous, sinful ways) !
... therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire."
(Matthew 3/7-10 and Luke 3/7-9)
Paul also exhorts us. He does not speak of "the dear God" who loves all sinners
(what the preachers of half-truths always claim)
but he writes the severity of God:
"Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell (God had then already destroyed),
severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness
(Only if you give yourself real effort to please God)
otherwise thou also shalt be cut off."
(Romans 11/22)
Never forget the warning of Jesus Christ:
"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot."
(If you do not implement the words of Jesus with enthusiasm into action,
then you act lukewarm in his eyes.)
"Because you are lukewarm ...
I will spue (spit) thee
out of my mouth." (That is why I do not want you in my kingdom.)
(Revelation 3/15-16)
Please read after the aforementioned cleartext point 106 how the lie preachers
can dumb down people through half-truths, without them even noticing it.
Only those who allow also uncomfortable and cautionary bible quotes to affect them,
will recognise the full truth.
However, since only a few people read the bible intensively, and most feel not addressed
by hard - hitting quotations (see plaintext point 134),
it is very easy for the preachers of the half-truths,
to persuade the believers to passivity.
What makes it even more easy for the lies preachers, is
the sluggish nature of man.
Stinginess and selfishness do the rest.
However, the problem will only be clear on the last day - but then it's too late!
Please read also the cleartext point 113.
Its title: One day it's too late.
No one can deny it - and no one can change it:
Everyone - including you - is just a breath, a heartbeat or an accident off from eternity!
(we could die any minute, and then it´s too late to change something)
Meanwhile, we have to be aware of this fact -
we must never forget!
"... For you yourselves know perfectly
that the day of the Lord so (suddenly) cometh as a thief in the night."
(1 Thessalonians 5/2)
Who's going through life as a real Christian, must not be afraid.
Always remember the warning words of Jesus Christ:
"I know thy works ... "
(Revelation 3/15)
Question: Are there any deeds and works available, with which you demonstrated your
gratitude and enthusiasm for the Lord ?
If not - then ... "I will spue thee out of my mouth."
(Revelation 3/15-16)
Do not let it come so far - do not be lukewarm - but work for the Lord !
Walk on the right path of God, and keep the target (the reward) in mind:
Eternal life in God's Kingdom - in paradise !
Often we wonder: Which way is the way to God -
and which path will lead us to eternal damnation ?
My motto for our own motivation is always:
When it comes easily, it's Satan's way, because the hell is going downhill.
When it comes hard, it's God's way to heaven because it goes uphill.
If Jesus had chosen the easy way he, would not have died in undescribable agony
on the cross as a representative for us - and we would never get into God's kingdom.
He went the hard way - for us. Now we have to go the hard way - and
also for us, because after all, we want to have eternal life in paradise.
Now to another, but equally important question:
"To be born again": What does it mean ?
By the "new birth" (or the "rebirth") is not meant the resurrection of the dead
at the last day. The new birth happens to us real Christians in our own lifetime.
This new birth (or rebirth) is very important according to the statement of Jesus Christ.
He stated this to a superior of the Jews - there was a Pharisee named Nicodemus.
Jesus answered and said to him:
"Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
(John 3/3)
So just who is newborn may enter the kingdom of God.
But what did Jesus mean by his statement?
On this huge earth don´t live two people who are absolutely identical (equal).
For example, there are around the world (among the billion people)
not two, which have the same fingerprints.
When a "new" man is born as a baby, then he (or she) is different than all the people who already live on this earth.
A "new" birth always produces a change.
If it was now possible that a person could be born again,
then that person would be different after birth different than he was before.
And that is exactly what Jesus wants to express with this sentence:
Who is "born again" changes.
Logically, the change should be for the better !
As perfect and flawless model serves us Jesus Christ.
Read the example of Jesus please in cleartext point 021.
Important:
Only through regeneration, which is allowed to us, through Jesus Christ,
we can "wash" our old, sinful life through Jesus' blood.
Jesus Christ is the only chance for us to get into God's kingdom. Through deeds and
works this is not possible - but only by the forgiveness of sins of our Lord Jesus.
From deep gratitude in a real Christian grows a burning desire,
to act for the Lord - and the need to obey and serve.
(For example, by completing the Great Commission - see cleartext point 030.)
No one, however, is complete - therefore we will always
"put our foot in one`s mouth" (ie sin). But Jesus Christ has given us the promise
to forgive us our sins over and over again.
This requires, however, that we strive wholeheartedly,
to stay away from sin. Jesus Christ is able, to look and detect in our hearts
whether we actually strive -
or only superficially live and act religiously.
When Jesus had washed his disciples´ feet symbolically (John 13/1-17)
they were clean from their sins. A purified body, which walks a short path barefoot
will not get completely dirty. Only the feet will get dirty on the way.
So Jesus told his disciples that when he (through his crucifixion)
has completely washed of their sins, but they again in their lives
will get dirty feet (because they will sin again every).
Then they should wash their feet (what is meant by the repentance of new sins).
So they would be completely clean again.
"He (or she) that is washed needeth not save to wash his (her) feet, but is clean every whit ... "
(John 13/10)
"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life,
and may enter in through the gates into the city (in eternal life)."
(Revelation 22/14)
"Whosoever (he or she) believes that Jesus is the Christ,
is born of God ..."
(1 John 5/1)
Who doubts or denies that Jesus is the Son of God,
who has sacrificed his life for the forgiveness of our sins on the cross,
is not a child of God - not born of God,
but a child of Satan, the "god of this world".
So Satan is namely referred to in the Bible as "the god of this world".
Satan has made the people who reject Jesus Christ as Savior to unbelievers -
even if these people otherwise believe in God as the Creator of heaven and earth.
"... In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not ..."
(2 Corinthians 4/4)
You distinguish yourself by your deeds and works as a child of God from the children of the devil:
"Whosoever is born of God (or) doth not commit sin, (Who is with God in an honest, intense connection does not sin)
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot (and will not) sin, because he is born of God.
In this the children of God are manifest (clearly),
and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,
neither he that loveth not his brother."
(1 John 3/9-10)
Who does not try wholeheartedly to put into practice what God sees as right,
is not a child of God, because God's children do not sin willfully, but
are always ready to abide by God's laws.
Unfortunately, no one is able to live completely without sin - this also known to God very well.
That is why he gave us the opportunity to do the honest repentance of sins and allow us
to "wash" them off through Jesus Christ (see cleartext point 009).
However, the Lord will see that we strive wholeheartedly,
to stay away from sin. This sets us, children of God, apart from the children of the devil.
Jesus Christ says to those who only try halfheartedly, sluggish or lukewarm
(or not) to fight against the sins and temptations:
"Ye do the deeds of your father (Satan)."
(John 8/41)
Jesus adds:
"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father (according to his wishes) ye will do."
(John 8/44)
Learn more about this topic you can find in cleartext point 110.
Its title: The people are Satan's children.
Please read after the aforementioned cleartext point 017,
that it is a sin if one does nothing.
As an example: Failure to help the needy is a sin.
"Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin."
(James 4/17)
Who does not help the poor, sick and starving - "commits" sin!
"He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning."
(1 John 3/8)
In the Bible it says:
"Blessed be the God, ... which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again ...
by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead ..."
(1 Peter 1/3)
Jesus Christ took our sins and suffered on our behalf the penalty,
we actually deserved. Thus our sins were "washed"
and we are clean (free from sin) - as if we were reborn.
This cleanliness must be preserved !
This means: Keep possibly away from sinful life,
because who surrounds himself with dirt, will soon be as dirty,
and who feels comfortable near the sin is
spotted over short or long from sin.
Popular wisdom says colloquially: contact (associates, other persons) forms man.
God then completes the "rebirth" by writing the "newborn" in the "Book of Life".
Those who have not been written there do not get eternal life in God's kingdom.
"And I (John - was allowed to look into the future and) saw the dead, small and great,
stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened,
which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things
which were written in the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up
the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
(Revelation 20/12-15)
"... but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven."
(Luke 10/20)
"Fear not, for I have redeemed thee;
I have summoned thee by name; thou art mine !"
(Isaiah 43/1)
Therefore do what God and Jesus Christ expect from you (let them see the works).
Thereby you stay in contact with them - you remain, so to speak "in them".
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus."
(Romans 8/1)
Statement:
One can not "be on a bus" when you are travelling in a different direction as the bus.
"... Be in Christ Jesus ..." means, therefore:
Going the prescribed way/path by Jesus (and pre-lived/presented by him) - and to obey his orders.
Please read also the cleartext point 039. Its title:
We should stay in connection with God and Jesus.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, (then) he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
(2 Corinthians 5/17)
But to be "in Christ Jesus", you have to know what Jesus Christ demanded of you also.
This you can learn, however, only when you read the word of the Lord. (Jesus' statements)
"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, (not from human seed) but of incorruptible,
by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever" (that forever has its validity).
(1 Peter 1/23)
Just as the Word of God for ever and ever remains so you too can
forever remain (by eternal life) in God's wonderful kingdom.
But this assumes that you "Newborn", have to water
the tender plant (which means "faith"), so it does not wither and dry out.
Use therefore the living water of life (the verses from the bible).
So read much and often in God's Word (and explanatory to those in these cleartext points).
If you say (or think) that you hardly - or don´t have time to read in the bible
(And explanatory to those in cleartext information),
I would like to recommend the cleartext point 005.
Please read to the cleartext point 003, how you a s well can understand the bible.
Also I recommended the cleartext point 004 entitled:
Was the bible not just written by men ?
We are warned in this exact bible:
"My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him ..."
(Hosea 9/17)
Those who have no serious interest to make themselves familiar with what the Lord says,
should not be surprised if he (or she) on the last day will not reach paradise - but is rejected by the Lord.
Once you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and have repented of your sins and mistakes (And really honest) before him with all my heart
, you are spiritually reborn
(Or reborn). The Lord is not interested in religious rituals
(such as baptism), but important to him are that your words convert
into action - obey and serve him - operate for the Lord.
To this topic "obey" you find important information in the aforementioned cleartext point 071.
In aforementioned cleartext point 041 you learn everything, what it means to serve God.
That it is very important to serve the Lord with the deeds (and not just with fine words),
is clearly stated in the Bible.
"Then shall ye return (on judgement day),
and discern between the righteous and the wicked,
between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not."
(Malachi 3/18)
Serve the Lord, for he has also served thee. Jesus Christ sacrificed his precious life
under idescribable torments, so he could pave the way to God´s kingdom for you.
Give (bring) him sacrifices in gratitude - even if they hurt you.
This should however not be religious, pious or sanctimonious
sacrifices, but the obedience to Jesus' word.
The "pain", that these sacrifices afflict on you is ludicrous in relation to that,
what Jesus suffered and endured on the cross for you - to save you.
In aforementioned cleartext point 006, important coherences are explained,
why Jesus had to be crucified so that we can be forgiven of our sins.
There was no other way. In the cleartext point 006, you find
a prayer example where you place Jesus Christ as the Lord of
your future life.
By entrusting your life to the Lord Jesus in prayer, and wanting to serve and obey him in the future,
you are (completely independent of the baptism) a newborn (or reborn) Christian.
If someone wants to tell you something else, then be sure: He (or she) is lying to you.
Only believe what is written in God's Word, the bible - and not,
what other people try to persuade you off with high sounding words.
Should somebody ask you to decide, to be baptised again, now as an adult (although you were already baptised as a child), then I suggest you read the cleartext point 140.
There, the issue is in fact precisely picked up and answers relevant matters.
I would like to recommend you also the cleartext point 002
entitled: Your way - the first steps as a Christian.
If you already are going through life as a Christian, then please remember,
that it is forbidden to worship, anyone or anything else,
except for God (not even Mary or the Pope are "holy").
Read this please in cleartext point 101.
This is very important - even vital !
Please read in the aforementioned cleartext point 023
that God observes and checks us humans on this earth - you - and me.
If doubts should again arise, why such bad misery exists on earth,
even though there is God, then I recommend you to read the cleartext point 086.
Never let doubts in the Lord arise in you - because doubts are deadly !
That you learn in cleartext point 062.
Now An important note:
Jesus Christ has warned us that our zeal for the Lord
gradually subsides, and we fall back into the old "rut".
That is namely the goal of Satan to make us lazy and passive.
By this, he works always and forever
- so for us there lies the danger of failing every day.
Read therefore please preventively the cleartext point 059.
Its title: utmost caution !
You can not fall back into your old habits!
Also important is the cleartext point 161. Its title:
Running out of road - the enthusiasm is gone ?
Help - the love to the Lord cools gradually !
I want to recommend the cleartext point 171 to you.
Its title: The great danger in Christianity.
(It's about the passivity of the "Christians".)
Warning !
Surely you know this or a similar sounding statement:
Each person is accounted for and responsible for his done and undone actions,
and all words spoken and has to answer questions on judgement day.
Have you ever thought intensively, what is meant by "undone" ?
These are the failure of the orders, which we received from the Lord.
I want to point out to you this subject in the aforementioned cleartext point 017.
Its title: Not to do something, can even be a sin !
Important and recommended is the cleartext point 087. Its title:
Do we really inflict evil to other people ?
Jesus Christ expects of you that you help intensively people in need
(for example, in the third world), through personal sacrifice.
And he also gave you, who calls himself a Christian, the commission to spread his word in a comprehensible form.
There is even a command - namely the Great Commission (information to the aforementioned cleartext point 030).
Whoever omits to implement one of these orders of Jesus Christ into action,
the one is in the eyes of the Lord a sinner.
If the Lord recognises that one does not strive wholeheartedly,
to stay away from sin - to turn away from sin,
the following warning from God's Word (New Testament) applies:
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth,
there remaineth (in the future) no more sacrifice for sins
(Jesus sacrifice on the Cross does not count),
but a certain fearful looking for of judgment
(In which Jesus Christ a just - will be tough as a judge)
and fiery indignation (hell), which shall devour the adversaries."
(Hebrews 10/26-27)
Please also read the cleartext point 165 on the topic: Deliberate sin.
Jesus Christ is not the silly boy,
we can gambol around on the head (do as we like),
but he is the Lord !
And the master must be obeyed.
Otherwise, Jesus cuts the acquaintance (friendship).
I don´t say this, but he lays down the conditions for his friendship.
Here are his words:
"Ye are (only) my friends if ye do whatsoever I command you."
(If you translate into practice what I tell you and ask you.)
(John 15/14)
That which Jesus asks of us, is also what God requires.
When we do this, we get Jesus not only as our friend -
but even as our brother. For Jesus says:
"For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother."
(Mark 3/35 and similarly in Matthew and Luke 12/50 8/21)
By converting into practice what the Lord Jesus commanded thee -
So you fulfil his commandments (his orders),
proves him that you love him.
"And this is love (to the Lord),
that we walk after his commandments."
(2 John 1/6)
(Please read also the clearext point 000. Its title:
You love Jesus? - Then work for him !
Never forget the just read warning:
"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth,
there remaineth (in the future) no more sacrifice for sins,
(Jesus sacrifice on the Cross does not count)
but a certain fearful looking for of judgment
(In which Jesus Christ a just - will be a tough judge) and fiery indignation, (hell)
which shall devour the adversaries."
(Hebrews 10/26-27)
The sermons that God loves sinners, so are lies.
(Please read after the aforementioned cleartext point 106,
as the faithful are dumbed down with half-truths.)
The statement that Jesus sacrificed his life for the forgiveness of our sins on the cross,
applies only to the condition, that the sinner strives wholeheartedly,
not to repeat the sins.
God compares those who want to hide their sins under the blood of Jesus on the cross,
with people who have built a wall - and a wall of sins.
This sin wall separates them from God.
The Lord God compares the preachers of half-truths (and those who believe their lie sermons)
with people who cover up this wall with white lime (so they paint) to make them shine clean
and light though the sins are still hidden underneath.
However, the Lord sees these hidden sins - is also very angry, burning with anger.
He speaks:
"Because, even because they (the lie preachers with their half-truths) have seduced my people, saying,
Peace; and there was no peace (between God and sinners); and one built up a wall (sin), and, lo,
others daubed (sweep to cover the sins) it with untempered morter (this wall) say unto them which daub it
with untempered morter, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and ye, O great hailstones,
shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it. (On the last day, before the final judgment the whited wall will
lose its lovely color, so that the dirty sins become visible. But then it is too late to change anything !)
Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith ye have daubed it ?
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an
overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
So will I break down the wall that ye have daubed with untempered morter, and bring it down to the ground,
so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall,
and ye shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with untempered morter,
and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it."
(Ezekiel 13/10-15)
Please read about real and honest repentance the aforementioned cleartext point 009.
Be thou an active doer of the Word - so, as the Lord requires of you.
"But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only;
deceiving your own selves."
(James 1/22)

Those who want to enter the kingdom of God should know what it looks like.
Some sentences in this respect we can read in the bible.
You'll find them in cleartext point 120.
Hardly anyone knows what the world court (at the final judgment)
will look like, although Jesus Christ explained this exactly.
Read it please in the aforementioned cleartext point 118.
What sounds unpleasant, the people displace. But who listens to the warning from Jesus Christ, must not be afraid of the Last Day and the Last Judgment.
Therefore read Jesus´ warning about the Last Judgment in the cleartext point 118 -
and then heed his words, because the danger of not obtaining eternal life in
the kingdom of God, according to Jesus' statement is very high.
Since your goal (as I hope) is not the final judgment, but
is eternal life in the kingdom of God, I wish you good luck on the way
in all your deeds and works.
Also, I wish you patience and perseverance,
so you become a real Christian - or remain
a true Christian.
May the Lord always help you and bless you.
(Who gets God's blessing, you will learn the in cleartext point 154.)
Advice:
To understand why someone hits this or that decision,
it is advisable to put themselves in his or her situation.
If you put yourself from time to time in the position of the Lord, then you will see much
from a changed perspective - and live most likely different in the future.
I want to share with you on this subject the cleartext point 151.
Its title: Role Reversal: Put yourself in God's situation ...
Often it is said that in every religion and in every faith lies a piece of truth.
In cleartext-point 157 you can read in this regard and it gives important food for thought.
The name of the homepage reads: "Jesus-in-clear-text" - so I want to give you
the following very important piece of advice in clear text
(So, tough - but honest).
Jesus Christ wants to see your deeds and works.
Only if you obey him, you will reach eternal life - only then !
These are not invented words of my thoughts, but it is the warning,
which was written in the New Testament of the bible to us:
"He that believeth in the Son (Jesus Christ) hath eternal life."
(John 3/36)
That sounds good - but now (in the same bible quote), the important warning:
"... and he that believeth not the Son (Jesus Christ) shall not see (eternal) life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
(John 3/36)
So be obedient to the Lord Jesus !
Your obedience you can only prove him
by your deeds and works - how else ?
Do not count on it that the "dear God" on Judgment Day will be
"automatically" gracious and merciful, and receive you with open arms
in his kingdom, just because you call yourself a Christian.
I would like to give you first the following notice:
The term "dear God" you won´t find a single time in the entire bible.
To the name or word "Christian", the words of Mr. Schweitzer apply:
"You don´t become a Christian, just because you go to church.
after all, you don´t become a car, just because you go to a garage."
In clear-point 167 you can (if you are interested in this) read some questions
with the corresponding answers regarding the church (es).
The title is: The cleartext point of a heretic ?
I would like to add following words to the statement of Schweitzer:
You will not become automatically a Christian, just because you read in the Bible.
After all, you will not get a full stomach, if you only read in a cookbook.
(I hope nobody said or wrote this before me,
so I won´t be sued because of plagiarism.)
If you want to be sick, you need to:
- Grow or buy food (for that you have to become active)
- Prepare the food (also often causes trouble)
- Finally, eat the food.
You do not have to - but then you will also not be satisfied (full).
You can steal your food - but one day you will be held accountable.
If you would like to be a Christian, then you "have to" ........... the words of the Lord:
- Read (or listen)
- Understand them (what has been read has to be understood)
- Believe it (not doubt the words of the Lord)
- Remember the statements (not memorise, but the spirit of memorising)
- And actually, do them (put into practice the words of the Lord).
You do not have to - but then you'll also not be a Christian.
You can try to get in another way in God's kingdom,
but you will not succeed - that Jesus Christ stated clearly.
Please read on this subject including the aforementioned cleartext point 010. Its title:
We should read the words of God and Jesus Christ (or hear) - understand -
believe (not doubt them) - remember - and do!
It may sound as if there is no guaranteed rescue.
However, there is - Guaranteed recovery is possible - namely
by fulfilling the above-mentioned three conditions.
Because they are so important, here again, all three:
1. You can not doubt that Jesus Christ as the Son of God
has taken your sins upon himself, and in place of you
endured the capital punishment on the cross.
2. All your sins you can be "washed off" by Jesus Christ
through sincere repentance.
3. In addition, it is necessary to put all the orders of the Lord into practice.
And do not forget the important addition:
We need (yes - must) hold until the end - and may never doubt !
I want you to warn you if you're thinking,
that you get a "ticket" to paradise,
if you only call yourself a Christian -
but otherwise stay passive and are not
active for the Lord.
Through prayers and singing songs, you will not reach the paradise,
and a church membership (if it´s not preaching the truth, and there are very few) doesn´t help you to the goal after death.
For God's kingdom, there is no convenient tickets in pre - sales,
but one can only go step by step there with difficulty.
Every day - step by step - you walk your path of life until in the end you
reach the goal.
If Jesus is your daily companion, you don´t need to have fear of death anymore.
Death is for you then not the miserable end - but just the beginning.
The beginning of eternity in God's Kingdom - in paradise.
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain."
(Philippians 1/21)
I can only advise everyone to deal with the subject of death,
even before the "Grim Reaper" knocks at the door, to pick someone from your family
or your friends. For then the screaming is large,
and one can hardly think straight.
But who knows what "death" really means, will have no fear of it.
In clear-point 057 you'll find valuable advice, so you are not helpless to death
when it comes one day.
I would like to take this opportunity to share cleartext point 184.
In it, it speaks to the frequently asked question of the mourners:
"Will he or she attain paradise ?"
Important to know:
No matter how much we wish to enter the kingdom of God -
suicide prevents this !
(See more about below in the alphabetical keywords: suicide.)
So walk the path to the end, no matter how difficult it may be.
"... cause me to know the way (tell me the way) wherein I should walk ..."
(Psalm 143/8)
In this cleartext information, you can read the various steps in understandable words.
Please also help, so those other people also get this opportunity -
that they too can find the cleartext points in the huge Internet and read.
(You will see how you can help if you click on the fourth link at the bottom of this cleartext point.)
God's way is always stressful. Perseverance and patience are required for this.
So pick no "carriers", which may fling you into paradise,
because that does not exist - but go yourselves on God's way to his kingdom - to paradise.
Jesus Christ will always help you and claim you never over your powers.
It is a long and difficult road - the goal is worth it, however,
to adduce one or the other sacrifice.
But back to the keyword grace and mercy of the Lord.
Of the preachers of half-truths people are persuaded, again and again, that
the "dear God" is gracious and merciful - because that's what people want to hear or read.
While this is not a complete lie - but unfortunately it is only half of the story.
The full truth is:
God provides conditions for his grace and mercy - no preconditions - but conditions.
In aforementioned cleartext point 137 you can read just that.
Share I would like now even the cleartext point 133 entitled:
Will you by loved by God in spite of your sins ?
There is also no convenient back door, to enter God's kingdom.
You can only walk the straight path and as a doer of the Word,
get eternal life
by the hand of Jesus Christ (Enter Paradise) -
so says the Lord in His Word (the bible).
Otherwise, it is not possible!
To show you more clearly - and make it "available", it would be good,
if you click on "Möbius strip" in the alphabetical search terms.
God says:
"This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left."
(Isaiah 30/21)
Think always of the important words of the Lord Jesus:
"I am the way and the truth and the life ..."
(John 14/6)
"But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only;
deceiving yourselves."
(James 1/22)
Question: Is the generating of deadline pressure trustworthy or untrustworthy ?
Answer: It depends on who pushes the pace.
For example, if a seller, bank manager or an insurance agent, puts
a customer under time pressure, usually there is a "twist".
By the artificial creation of time pressure, the impression is conveyed,
that this would be a one-time business, which is not valid anymore tomorrow.
This is not serious nor fair because it is only a quick signature
or a hasty buy decision away, and just made palatable.
But if an emergency makes time pressure, with flashing lights and sirens the ambulance
drives to the hospital - and urges there on an immediate operation, then
this by no means is frivolous - but saving - lifesaving.
And what if Jesus Christ gives us "time pressure"?
Is this trustworthy - or untrustworthy?
Jesus is not a "Soul hunter".
He wants us to come voluntarily to him.
But he knows very well that we humans all are
just a breath away from eternity.
In the old german children's song "Good evening, good night" it says:
"Tomorrow morning, so God will, you will wake up once again."
The emphasis is on "so".
Most people like this fear - but it happens to be the reality.
We can and should not supplant this. That would be as if the emergency turns off the blue light on the ambulance, and
Once makes its lunch in peace,
while the patient is in mortal danger.
Jesus Christ urges us consciously to hurry because he knows that it
can easily happen that God drops a human.
Please read the cleartext points 044 and 060, how quickly it can occur,
that God drops men without realising it themselves.
There are two points in time, which render changes in our lives and our behaviour impossible.
The one is our personal death, which at any time and very suddenly can "knock at the door".
And the other point is the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ to this earth.
Jesus announced to us that this will happen very suddenly,
and that we should at all times be prepared for it.
Jesus Christ warns us many times that we do not know how much time we do have left !
"Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."
(Matthew 24/42)
"Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not
(when you do not expect it, so suddenly) the Son of man (Jesus Christ) cometh."
(Matthew and Luke 24/44 12/40)
You do not know how much time God leaves you.
Therefore, don´t postpone the change of your life "until the cows come home", but
make the necessary changes immediately - not tomorrow, but today,
for thou knowest not whether the Lord has provided for you a morning.
If you want to be a doer of the Word - then become it immediately.
If you need to apologise to someone, do it immediately.
If you want to help those in need in the developing world, then do the same,
because next week many of these distressed people have already died.
You could prevent this !
If you want to help to spread the word of God by supporting this website financially by the Google Advertising "AdWords"
for advertising this homepage (see the call for donations), then please send me
as soon as possible an email, because if all website readers would say, "I'll do that soon." -
then I could not do this important work because without the help of the readers I can´t achieve anything.
In the bible it is written:
"And now why tarriest (wait) thou ?"
(Acts 22/16)
" Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good."
(2 Chronicles 19/11)
But we can also read the following warning:
"... and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know."
(faster than you can imagine it)
(Isaiah 47/11)
It could be that now arises the question in your mind:
"What happens if someone sinned - and a second later
was killed in an accident or a heart attack ? "
Or:
"What if Jesus came back at the very moment the earth,
if I did something wrong - so I sinned ? - Am I then lost,
because I can not regret it ? "
If you deal with such issues, then I recommend you, to read the
cleartext point 178, because there you will find the answer.
But is important to know the following:
"For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he (or she) should enter into judgment with God."
(Job 34/23)
"Redeeming the time, (use the time now) because the days are evil."
(Ephesians 5/16)
Don´t let anyone persuade you, that he (or she) knows the date (ie the precise day)
when the master of the earth will come back because this date only God knows.
(More about this topic in plaintext point 114.)
That only God knows when Judgment Day will be - the day,
on which Jesus Christ returns to earth again,
that you can now read for yourself:
The disciples of Jesus wanted to know when he comes back to earth -
So when the last day will be.
Jesus Christ said to them:
"It is not for you to know the times or the seasons ..."
(Acts 1/7)
Jesus personally said:
"But of that day and hour knoweth no man (The date, nobody knows),
no (Jesus Christ), not the angels of heaven, but my (heavenly) father only."
(Only God determines when will be that day.)
(Matthew 24/36 and Mark 13/32)
Please read necessarily the aforementioned cleartext point 113.
Its title: One day it's too late.
